The Abandoned Wing

The Abandoned Wing is a psychological horror observation game inspired by the mood of Exit 8. You wake up in the abandoned wing of some once-working facility, with only one way to go through an endless corridor that appears perfectly normal at first—but soon that facade begins to break down.

Your task is to spot the differences, with a long list of things defined as differences: disappearances and displacements, stretched humanoids way down at the end of some hall, geometry bending itself into a new shape, lights flickering on and off. Miss too many-and presumably this is what happens if you get them all wrong-your sanity dribbles away to nothing and you get to see whatever it is that's hiding in the dark.

It is an experience based on perception, a slight fear, and the feeling that reality has started falling apart. With every single step forward, it grows stronger until finally ending in a climactic confrontation; this game makes one doubt not only what is seen but also if memory itself can be trusted or relied upon. Every run-through becomes an experiment testing how much detail the player notices, guts to proceed further possessed by him/herand psychological stamina.
